Shirley Ann Sullivan Educational Foundation
Since 2001 we have worked to help eradicate poverty by providing education and resources to thousands of children and youth. In 2013 we began our most challenging work with child protection by forging new partnerships, raising more money to advocate for children's human rights, education and protection from all forms of harm.
Sending kids to school is the cornerstone of who we are and what we do. We know when children are educated they have a choice and a chance of a better future. Since 2001 we have been building schools, donating libraries, providing education and opportunity for kids who without our help may have never touched a book, visited a library, watched a child friendly film or simply been able to afford basic education and study in a safe space.
Advocacy programs to stop all forms of violence against children was added to our core programs in 2013. Getting life saving information in the hands of young people is one of the toughest challenges we have faced. Putting an end to trafficking children, providing survivor spaces for healing, bringing awareness to stopping bullying, and distributing Teen Safety awareness materials. Join us in our initiatives to save lives.
Your donation helps us send kids to school, buy books for children's libraries , plus provide students with backpacks, text books, supplies (pens, pencils, paper, rulers) mandatory school uniforms and lab fees.
